We are currently seeking a skilled Graduate Civil Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Position Overview
DMSE is seeking a Graduate Civil Engineer to join our growing engineering division. This role is intended for a recent civil engineering graduate working toward Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation. The successful candidate will support engineering design and project delivery while gaining progressive responsibility under the supervision of senior engineers.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with the design of civil engineering projects including grading, servicing, stormwater management, and road design.
Prepare engineering drawings, calculations, and technical reports.
Coordinate with internal survey, drafting, and construction support teams.
Participate in site visits, inspections, and construction reviews.
Assist with project coordination, scheduling, and documentation.
Support permitting and submissions to municipalities and regulatory agencies.
Apply engineering standards, municipal guidelines, and best practices in project work.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited university.
Eligible for registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT).
0-3 years of relevant civil engineering experience.
Familiarity with Civil 3D and basic civil design principles considered an asset.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem solving skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team based environment.
Valid drivers license.
