Summer Student

DMSE is looking for Summer Students to join our team.

Are you currently enroled in a Geomatics related field?

We are looking for summer students to work in the field and the office.

Field positions:

Working closely with the survey team, you will work primairly in the field to execute a wide variety of survey projects:

• Legal surveys for things like boundary retracements, subdivisions and property staking ranging from individual land owners to large developments.

• Topographic surveys and pre-engineering surveys

• Construction staking for buildings, municipal infrastrucutre and roads.

• SIte inspection to support construction of municipal infrastructure and streets.

Familiarity and experience field surveying, gps and total stations and data collectors would be an asset.

Office positions:

Working closely with others on the survey and engineering teams, you will work primairly in the office to support the survey and engineering divisions. Typical tasks would involve legal boundary research, preparing letters and other corrospondance, plan preparation, client communication, and various other tasks as required.
